KUNSThoch2 is a university initiative to make the diverse connections between science and art in and between the various departments of Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences visible and to further expand them in cooperation with artists and cultural networks in the city of Magdeburg, the district of Stendal and the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel.

This website offers an overview of artistic-creative university projects in the areas of teaching, research and third mission and documents the constantly growing range of artistic research, art-based teaching and artistic-creative transfer of university knowledge: the many small and large artistic steps with which socially relevant topics are addressed at the university open up new perspectives and impressively demonstrate how knowledge can be produced and communicated through artistic design processes and formats.
