Lange Nacht der Kultur

We are celebrating the 22nd LONG NIGHT OF CULTURE on 08.06.2024.

Bremerhaven's cultural scene will present itself in colorful diversity and splendor when 46 cultural activities and events take place throughout the city during this year's LONG NIGHT OF CULTURE. This year's theme is about city identity and about shaping and experiencing life in an urban context.

Sound experiments in the Kulturkirche, a floral exhibition with performance in the Galerie Goethe 45 and a concert behind Alberts Hus will attract visitors to the north of the city.

The puppet theater opens its doors and the philharmonic orchestra is a guest at the Theater im Fischereihafen.

In Geestemünde, there will be music in the Christuskirche and Galerie78, while the studio of the same name at Holzhafen invites visitors to look and marvel. There will be body percussion and folk dancing, a chill-out area in the pedestrian zone and a stage on the square in front of the Great Church. David Schollmeyer will be playing hits on the organ in the church, the TANZLAND dance ensembles will be in town and there will be a solidarity event for Ukraine on Theodor-Heuss-Platz.

Also on the program: theatrical city tours, art events, paintings, a children's program, boat trips, brass band music and window concerts. The cultural office itself has invited the dance ensembles cie.toula limnaios and URBAN ARTS ENSEMBLE and, of course, INSTANT-IMPRO on the summer stage at the municipal theater.

As usual, all events are free of charge.
