The house, idyllically situated on the shores of Obersee, was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1932 for the print shop owner Karl Lemke and his wife. Between 2000 and 2002, the building was restored in accordance with the preservation order. The garden was also restored according to a historical plan. It invites visitors to stroll around and relax. Today, the rooms of the house serve as an exhibition space for modern art.
