We are a home-style pub restaurant in the heart of the city of Dortmund. Located at the intersection of the three important arteries Kreuz-, Saarland- and Hoher Straße, we offer our guests Westphalian home cooking as it is written in the book. And this in the double sense.

The original idea for our restaurant came to managing director Christopher Reinecke when he came across a handwritten cookbook with regional recipes in his grandparents' attic. Not only from a culinary point of view, but also for reasons of tradition, these dishes had to find their way onto the plates of Dortmund's gourmets immediately. As quickly as possible and - that much was clear - with plenty of zest.

So Reinecke (a trained catering merchant) called his buddy Kevin Großkreutz (a graduate of Pöhler) and the two became business partners in the restaurant sector without further ado. The result of the cooperation between professional soccer player and restaurateur is our distinctive restaurant in industrial design. We are looking forward to your visit!
