INSPIRE WRITING: The permanent exhibition

In the immediate vicinity of our company headquarters and the manufactory where Montblanc writing instruments are made, the INSPIRE WRITING exhibition tells the story of the start-up that later became Montblanc. Discover original handwriting by icons such as Frida Kahlo and Ernest Hemingway and take a look behind the scenes of the team that produces our most exclusive writing instruments. Find out how our nibs are made and delve even deeper into the world of writing.

INSPIRE WRITING | FILMMAKING: The temporary exhibition

In addition to the permanent exhibition, we present a temporary exhibition that changes every year and always shows new perspectives on the written word. In 2024, Montblanc is celebrating a very special event: the first masterpiece was produced 100 years ago. An icon that has inspired people all over the world to write. Including star director Wes Anderson, who wrote and produced a short film inspired by Montblanc and Mont Blanc in his own iconic style. INSPIRE WRITING | FILMMAKING shows parts of the original film set, alongside other objects from the world of film.

At MONTBLANC HAUS, we want to inspire all age groups to write: Whether as an outing with the family, a calligraphy course in our Writing Atelier or a visit to the Montblanc Manufactory.

The MONTBLANC HAUS boutique and the in-house café invite you to linger - even without a ticket for the exhibition.
