The Museum Berggruen has been closed since September 5, 2022 due to a major renovation of the building.

The Museum Berggruen served the gallery owner and private collector Heinz Berggruen as an exhibition venue for his collection. It complements the Neue Nationalgalerie's collections of classical modernism in the most striking way, especially with its unique works by Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, Henri Matisse and Alberto Giacometti.
