Little by little, a center of creative life is growing here on a modular basis. At the eastern end of the RAW site, a new hub of urban life has been developing since this summer: a retreat, experience and experiential space for the creative people of this city, a playground for creatives and forward thinkers, for artists and doers, for nightlife and night lovers - simply: a NEW HOME. In a setting dominated by industrial buildings, inner courtyard idylls alternate with 19th century hall architecture. Step by step, the former co-operators of Bar25 and Chalet Club, together with their team, will redefine the surrounding area and make young, fresh concepts in urban space a reality. Concepts that go beyond a conventional use as a pure club or gastronomy location. On more than 3000m², everything that makes Berlin and especially Friedrichshain special will be combined: versatility, openness and internationality. Simply, a new home. Surrounded by industrial buildings among idyllic courtyards and factory halls dating back to the 19th century the former operators of renowned Bar25 and Chalet Club will gradually redefine the area. Fresh, new concepts shall be realized in an urban environment - concepts quite distant from any conventional use as mere club or catering location. The VILLAGE MARKET - a streetfood market, which combines culinary treats with art, performances, live bands and DJs - will be the prelude to this long-term development. Opening on August 3rd and from then on taking place every Sunday the VILLAGE MARKET is only the first of various events planned at NEUE HEIMAT. Stretched out over more than 3000m², all these things shall be joined together, that make Berlin and Friedrichshain in particular so unique: multiplicity, open-mindedness and multiculturalism.
