The New Town Hall in Hanover is an imposing, historic building that is one of the city's landmarks. It was built between 1901 and 1913 in the Wilhelminian style and is reminiscent of a castle. The building stands on the southern edge of Maschpark and impresses with its dome, which is almost 100 meters high. Visitors can take a unique arched elevator to the viewing platform, which offers a panoramic view of the city.

Inside the town hall there are representative rooms and several models showing the development of Hanover in different eras. The town hall serves as the seat of the Lord Mayor and is a popular venue for exhibitions and events.
