THE GALLERY NEUROTITAN

The gallery neurotitan is in the center of the association work of the non-profit Schwarzenberg e.V. which was founded in 1995 with the aim of promoting interdisciplinary art and culture as its mission statement. For this purpose, we have 300 square meters of bright gallery space as well as the outdoor area of Haus Schwarzenberg at our disposal. We have always offered artists the opportunity to work and present themselves freely and without commercial pressure. neurotitan is a vital hub of an international artists' network that spans avant-garde, subculture and established art. In more than twenty years of cultural work, we have purposefully connected to this network, because for us, networking is both a purpose of our work and a decisive strategy for achieving our goals.neurotitan's diverse gallery program of street art, comics, illustration, screen printing and fine art follows the principle: as few guidelines as necessary, as much freedom as possible. Experiments and the use of different forms of expression are expressly desired. We therefore give the artists as much freedom as possible and support them in the realization of their projects at neurotitan with our infrastructure and logistics.

The neurotitan store is directly connected to the gallery. On the one hand it is a specialized bookstore for graphic design, comics and illustration, on the other hand it is the extended arm of the gallery: artists from all over the world give their art, goods and products here on commission and thus make possible the unique assortment of originals, unique pieces, small and very small editions, zines, self-published comics, graphic novels, screen prints, bags and t-shirts.
