In addition to changing special exhibitions, we present a varied and modern permanent exhibition: explore amber in our in-house laboratory, peer from a high seat into the vast forests of former East Prussia, follow the path from the rise of Prussia to the founding of the German Reich, learn more about the fate of displaced persons after the Second World War, discover the Hanseatic era, view important art by Lovis Corinth and Käthe Kollwitz and get to know the famous Trakehner horses. Another highlight is the Baltic German section, which for the first time presents the history of the Baltic Germans in a museum setting. Look forward to a lively, family-friendly and comprehensive exhibition!
