In the south of Leipzig, between Karli and Völki, you will find the Panometer Leipzig - a former gas storage facility that has been transformed into a unique exhibition venue by Berlin artist Yadegar Asisi since 2003.

Here you can discover 32-metre-high 360° panoramas that immerse you directly in the artwork and feature accompanying exhibitions and films. Over the past 20 years, Yadegar Asisi has shown panoramas such as EVEREST, ROME 312, AMAZONIA, LEIPZIG 1813, GREAT BARRIER REEF and, from March 16, THE CATHEDRAL OF MONET.

Each panorama is accompanied by a musical and sound backdrop as well as visual effects.

The Panometer Leipzig is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm.

Guided tours take place at 11 am, 12 noon, 2 pm and 3 pm.

Tickets can be purchased on site at the Panometer box office or online in advance.
