Pianohaus van Bremen has been in business for well over 100 years. The piano and grand piano store is thus part of Dortmund's musical history. After several moves, the traditional business has been located on Hansastraße for several decades - with a view of the Brückviertel.

Who hasn't walked past the open shop windows with their impressive grand pianos in amazement? The piano house is also behind a wonderful campaign: if piano music can be heard in the pedestrian zone in the summer because someone walking by has sat down at one of the keyboard instruments and is showing what he has in his fingers, then it is a piano from van Bremen. In the summer of 2020, we unfortunately had to do without the works with a spectrum from the Flea Waltz to the Amelié soundtrack to classical pieces due to the pandemic.

The Pianohaus is a favorite place for ambitious pianists of all ages - but also for those who would like to become one. Here, amateur and professional musicians meet and greet each other.

First and foremost, of course, the Pianohaus sells uprights, digital pianos and grand pianos. The inviting salesroom is filled with a whole range of weighty treasures. But the piano house also has its own music teachers, grand piano studios for spontaneous rehearsals, performs piano tunings or offers instruments for rent.

Rental? Yes. And not just for a performance or a day: some music lovers even rent the valuable pieces for several years.

Not to see everything only in black and white, we usually totally approve of that. Only with piano keys we make an exception. Convince yourself that there is so much to discover in the world of pianos!
