What is PLEKS?

PLEKS is a place where people from all walks of life can meet and get to know one another. PLEKS is committed to democracy, human rights, and diversity. It hosts a wide variety of events. All activities at PLEKS are free of charge.

Who is PLEKS for?

PLEKS is open to everyone.

In particular, PLEKS supports refugees, people with disabilities, women, queer people, children, and youth, among many others.

Everyone is welcome: the PLEKS’s spaces are accessible, diversity is valued, and many different languages are spoken.

Community

At PLEKS, people from very different backgrounds come together. Here, people can make connections and form friendships. Together, a community grows.

Culture

Concerts and exhibitions take place at PLEKS. Once a month, people come together to make music at a jam session. Once a year, the big summer festival is celebrated, and everyone in Fellbach is welcome to attend.

Education

PLEKS offers workshops and courses on a variety of topics. People can learn German, participate in theater, take part in creative workshops, attend lectures on political topics, and much more.

The PLEKS team supports people who want to get involved.

Only with volunteers can PLEKS offer such a diverse program.

PLEKS collaborates with many

initiatives and clubs in Fellbach. Other organizations can use the PLEKS facilities for public events.

PLEKS participates in all kinds of city festivals. Together, we create spaces for people to come together—with music, food, and many different perspectives. Because we’re convinced that coming together builds community.
