A 100-metre-long, donation-funded rainbow stripe on Münster's Hafenplatz is a powerful symbol of tolerance and diversity. The colorful path runs across the square - from Albersloher Weg to the street Am Mittelhafen - and is particularly eye-catching where city life pulsates. The location was chosen deliberately: The fatal attack on Malte C took place nearby on Christopher Street Day in 2022. The rainbow stripe commemorates this tragic event and is also intended to increase the visibility of LGBTIQ* people in public spaces.
