The Reuererbäck, often referred to as "reu" or "reue" for short, is a restaurant in Sanderstraße in the Altstadt district. A special attraction of the Reuererbäck is the art shelter project, which offers space for artistic experiments. Readings, happenings, concerts and lectures take place here regularly. The walls are also regularly decorated as part of changing art concepts. In its own description, the project is described as an "underground art initiative" that deals with the future of art in society.
