The Berlin S-Bahn Museum has been preserving the cultural heritage of the Berlin S-Bahn since 1989. With great voluntary commitment from the German Railway Customer Association, the museum presents unique exhibits on the history of the S-Bahn and its significance for Berlin and the surrounding area. After several stops, the museum has moved into a project space in Berlin's Ostbahnhof station since 2023, which displays a selection of the collection as a "museum light". The long-term goal remains a permanent location for the extensive collection.
