Hidden above the River Elbe between Dresden and Meissen, in the hills of the valleys on the left bank of the Elbe in the municipality of Klipphausen, lies the picturesque, winding Batzdorf Castle. On the edge of the village of Batzdorf, between gardens, orchards and the wooded Rehbock valley, you will find this revived gem from ancient times. In its long history from 1400, it still presents itself today, lovingly restored by the Schloß Batzdorf e.V., in its last large Renaissance superstructure.

Das Schloß öffnet seine Tore ab 1,5 Stunde vor Beginn der ersten Veranstaltung des Tages bis 30 Minuten nach Ende der letzten Veranstaltung. Für Getränke und Snacks ist, wie gewohnt, vor Ort gesorgt. Auch diese Einnahmen tragen dazu bei, dass wir die Kultur auf Schloss Batzdorf veranstalten können. Die Schloßanlage ist aus Denkmalschutzgründen nicht. behindertengerecht
