Where more than 200 years ago Prince Heinrich celebrated great festivals and music, theater and dance were always part of courtly life, today the Rheinsberg Palace Theater is an essential part of the cultural life of the city of Rheinsberg and the north of Brandenburg.

As an independent venue run by Musikkultur Rheinsberg gGmbH, it offers a diverse cultural program all year round. The Rheinsberg Castle Theatre's repertoire includes performances and projects by the Rheinsberg Music Academy, the Rheinsberg Castle Chamber Opera as well as top-class guest performances - such as those by the Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt - and offers in cooperation with regional cultural providers. In terms of content, we offer our visitors musical events from all genres, exciting insights into literature, cozy cinema evenings or theater performances for the whole family.

The events not only take place in the castle theater itself, but are supplemented, especially in the warmer months, by surrounding venues such as the Hall of Mirrors at Rheinsberg Castle, the theater foyer, the Amtsstube and occasionally by open-air stages in the castle park and the academy courtyard.
