Sommerbühne vor dem Stadttheater

The neighboring cultural institutions around Bremerhaven's Theodor-Heuss-Platz, the Stadttheater Bremerhaven, the Stadtbibliothek Bremerhaven and the Kunstverein with Kunsthalle and Kunstmuseum, are organizing the summer stage for five weeks for the second time in 2024 together with the cultural office of the seaside city.

A stage with an area of up to 100 square meters and a grandstand with around 350 seats will be set up in front of the Stadttheater portal. The cooperation partners will put on an extensive and varied program of theater, readings, performances and music as well as a supporting program for the period from the end of May to the end of June.

The heart of the Summer Stage 2024 is the Bremerhaven City Theatre's production of Shakespeare's classic Romeo and Juliet.
