The Dresden City Museum is located just a few meters from the Dresden Frauenkirche in the historic Landhaus.

The permanent exhibition presents over 1,000 exhibits in three halls. More than 20 media stations and a wide range of educational activities create various opportunities to learn about 800 years of Dresden's history. Numerous film installations and a small cinema show how the city has changed over the past century.
