The Maschsee lido in Hanover is a popular leisure facility on the southern shore of the man-made Maschsee lake. Located in the heart of the city, it has been offering residents and visitors a place to relax and spend their leisure time for over 70 years. The bathing season runs from mid-May to the end of August each year, with the pool open daily from 10:00 to 20:00.

The facility includes a spacious sunbathing lawn, a 600-metre-long sandy beach and a 320,000 square meter shallow water zone, which is particularly suitable for families with children. The DLRG ensures the safety of bathers, and modern changing rooms, showers and sanitary facilities are available. A kiosk at the main entrance offers refreshments and snacks.
