Dishes for the lunch break that are not heavy on the stomach - that was the basic idea. Then, around ten years ago, it all started with the "soup factory". The team used the first lockdown in 2020 to reorient itself and reinvent itself. And reopened the store in the Kaiserviertel in August of the same year. As "Strauch's Deli."

As befits a deli, the offerings include much more than soups: In addition to delicious stews, there are also hot curries and fresh bowls and salads. For the last two, "Strauch's" cooperates with "Pottsalat" - we definitely recommend the "Habibi Bowl with Halloumi".

With this selection, it's wonderful to just try your way through the menu. In addition to dishes with meat, there are also vegetarian and vegan dishes. The team takes great care to ensure that the offer is balanced and that everyone* finds something for themselves.

Speaking of the team: Behind "Strauch's Deli" are the brothers Martin and Christoph Strauch. Pascal Dürr, the founding father of the former "soup factory," is still involved as a silent partner.

They have set up a store that is an integral part of the neighborhood: The food is healthy and delicious - both on site and to take away. And the interior is young and modern. In addition to the blue wall color, there is another absolute eye-catcher: elements made of recycled construction wood, attractively designed by the company "Ursprung" from Münster.
