The "TANTE MANFRED - Tanzlokal & Konzertklub" is more than just a place. It is a way of life - and has been for over 20 years. Once founded as "Klub Drushba", we have stood for the love of good pop music in all its facets - live and canned - in Halle/Saale since around 2005 (we don't know exactly). It all started at the end of the 90s, first in the old bowling alley and then in the Volkspark dance club. The first official concert at Klub Drushba (now Tante Manfred) took place on October 24, 2005 with the Norwegian band "Washington" - that much is certain. At the same time, we founded the well-known indie record label "Noisedeluxe Records". It was the beginning of a long story full of good albums, hot nights, loud guitars, booming beats and shared memories. Numerous bands from all over the world have already left their mark on our stage - some before their big breakthrough: Loveninjas (Swe), Decoration (UK), Misty's Big Adventure (UK), Mediengruppe Telekommander (D), John Wayne Shot Me (NL), Matt Sharp from "Weezer" (USA), The Animal Five (Swe), Koufax (USA), Zoot Woman (UK), The Blood Arm (UK), Turbostaat (D), Phillip Poisel (D), Fertig, Los! (D), MC Bomber (D), Finch (D), Trümmer (D), Hgich.t (D), Von Wegen Lisbeth (D), Milleniumkid (D) - and many more. The story is not over yet.
