The aim of the Tapetenwerk is to create inexpensive but professional workspaces for "creatives" and thus also a central communication location for projects and ideas. The aim is to retain the charm of the old industrial architecture and the Tapetenwerk as a "production site": for artists:inside, designers:inside, architects:inside, for creative crafts or for new work concepts such as the coworking space.

To this day, tours with TAPETENWERKFEST, exhibitions and open studios are organized in spring and autumn - then new positions from art, design, architecture, etc. are presented there publicly and independently, where web designers, architects or photographers work throughout the year. On the Friday after St. Martin's Day, wallpaper makers and their guests share spaces, art and art proceeds with a non-profit project for the charitable art auction DAS TAPETENWERK TEILT. Exhibitions and workshops take place all year round in the 320 square meters of Hall C01, which is used in particular as a presentation and communication space for young creatives and art projects.

By bike/walk Along the Karl-Heine-Kanal to the Helmholtzschule, then past the school, cross Endersstrasse and cycle/walk through Henriettenpark directly to the Tapetenwerk.

By streetcar Take line 15 from the main station in the direction of Miltiz or line 8 from Augustusplatz in the direction of Grünau-Nord to the Henriettenstraße stop and get off directly in front of the Tapetenwerk on Lützner Straße.

By S-Bahn Take line S1 or S10 from the main station to Leipzig-Lindenau and then walk for 5 minutes.
