The Loft

The Loft is one of Vienna's most versatile music venues and also part of the lively Gürtel scene. The location has several areas at the same time: upstairs, downstairs and a living room, which are used independently or together depending on the evening. This enables a program that can run several events in parallel on a single evening.

What makes the Loft special is its range. Reggaeton, techno, progressive house, hip-hop, live concerts, open stages, children's discos: there's hardly a drawer here that doesn't open at some point. The program is aimed at a broad, music-loving audience and is surprisingly low-threshold. Many events are inexpensive or even free, making the Loft one of the most accessible concert and club venues in the city.

The living room as a separate space is often used for smaller, more intimate formats, from open-stage evenings to concerts on a smaller scale. This gives the Loft a quality that larger clubs often don't have: Space for the small and unfinished, not just the finished and polished.
