Host and anchor is owner Bruno "Günna" Knust, unmistakable cult figure throughout the region and still known to many as Borussia Dortmund's stadium announcer. Today he is a cabaret artist, author, presenter, commentator and main actor in the Theater Olpketal.

Günna's program focuses on the people of the Pott: open, with a great sense of humor, sometimes loud and sometimes meek, always honest and straightforward. The guests experience a cultivated merry, varied evening with much laughter, amusement and Westphalia color in special environment with culinary supplement amusement in the form of regional hop products, bang water and many a Schabau.

For more than 30 years the family business Theater Olpketal has been constantly growing and changing. In the process, it has always consolidated its incomparable character and never lost its high standards. Bruno Knust's daughter Nicoletta and her team put special emphasis on individual attention to each event, excellent quality and courteous service.

Their own programs are always complemented by visits from well-known artists. Many sought-after comedians and cabaret artists such as Torsten Sträter, Wolfgang Trepper, Jürgen Becker, Wilfried Schmickler and many more are welcome, recurring guests.
