If you love magnificent views and want to enjoy the Stuttgart valley basin with its vineyards from above, there is no better place than the "Tschechen und Söhne": from the terrace you can see as far as the Neckar valley and Schurwald forest.

The beer garden on the Karlshöhe is located in the middle of a park with a playground and English-style gardens, which the Stuttgart Beautification Association had laid out around the historic quarry in the 19th century. In 1961, the famous Stuttgart architect Rolf Gutbrod built a stylish "Unterstehhalle" with a milk bar and terrace for the State Garden Show, which later became a cultural monument. When Marshall Gastronomies came to Karlshöhe in 2004, the small milk bar was renovated in close cooperation with the heritage office. In the colors of the 1960s, the extension fits in perfectly with the overall architectural appearance of the complex. You can enjoy your lunch break here between exotic old trees or quench your thirst on balmy evenings above the city lights.

The menu offers typical beer garden fare ranging from sausage salad, meatballs and white sausages to ravioli with potato salad. Our summer salads in different variations are particularly popular. We also serve freshly tapped Dinkelacker beer from the Steinkrug and wine from the region as well as cake, cappuccino and latte machiato.
