Volksbad Jena

The former bathing hall not only houses the management of JenaKultur and parts of the VHS course rooms, but is also ideal for meetings, celebrations and cultural events. The public baths were officially opened on 31.03.1909 and were available to guests for bathing, sweating and swimming for a long time. Following the closure of the beloved bathing temple in 2001, it was reopened in 2007 after extensive renovations and has since established itself as a venue for special events in Jena. Since January 2010, a wide variety of concerts, parties, readings and family events have been held under the Volksbad label.
