Waldsee Krähenwinkel is an approximately 1.5-hectare quarry pond to the north-east of Langenhagen, which was dredged in 1968/69 and officially opened as an outdoor pool in August 1972. It offers gently sloping shallow water zones, a central swimming island and a sandy beach with sunbathing area, equipped with a kiosk, changing rooms, toilets (also suitable for the disabled) and supervised by the DLRG during the bathing season. The water quality is regularly checked and was last classified as excellent in 2025.
