Film culture connects - films open hearts.

With these guiding principles, the non-profit company Wandelbilder wants to establish itself as a permanent player in the (mobile) film landscape in the northern regions of Germany - and especially in the Hamburg area. Wandelbilder makes an active contribution to media education in society by offering thematically well thought-out mobile film events and mediation services and opens up access to film culture in particular for those people who have fewer opportunities to participate, e.g. due to their place of residence.

By actively seeking cooperation with other cultural institutions and contributing professional expertise (both in terms of film theory and media practice), the long-term goal is to establish stable and long-term cooperation and structures.

In today's world, in which discourse and encounters increasingly take place in the digital realm, I see a need to create analog spaces in which civil society can engage with worldly issues - actively, creatively and together. Moving images offer wonderful opportunities for this!
