welcoMEntor is an association of various mentoring projects in Stuttgart.

Our goal:
Our democratic society thrives on diversity. With welcoMEntor, we promote encounters and exchanges at eye level - for more trust, less prejudice and strong social cohesion.

Who is the project aimed at?

• People who have come to Stuttgart from another country
• People who have lived here for a long time but perhaps do not yet feel at home
• People who have lived here for a long time and enjoy meeting people from other cultures

Why take part?

• Get to know new people and perspectives
• Experience something together and learn from each other
• Working towards social cohesion

What does mentoring look like in a 1:1 tandem?
Mentoring is multifaceted, e.g. helping with homework, difficult life situations or starting a career, making language learning easier and, above all, living everyday life together.

Anyone can be a mentor or mentee. No special prior knowledge is required.
