Wolkenberg in Brandenburg

In the middle of one of the sunniest areas of Germany, the Niederlausitz, the Wolkenberg vineyard can be found. Since the old Welzow Süd open pit mine was recultivated into a vineyard, five white wine varieties have been grown there: Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Kernling, Schönburger as well as Red Riesling. Oenologist Martin Schwarz ensures the optimal development of the Wolkenberg wines in his Meissen wine manufactory on the Mariaberg and supports Bettina Muthmann and her team in their daily work in the vineyard.
