ZK/U is a place of art production, an artist:s and researcher:s residency and a program platform. The work of ZK/U aims to (re)activate social and spatial relations between individuals and groups separated by education, income, gender and cultural background. The goal is to bring together global discourses and local practices. In doing so, ZK/U explores the ways in which art can be a catalyst for change in urban space and seeks through its work to demonstrate the feasibility of these participatory, urban artistic practices.
