Some call it nostalgia, for 1MANDISCO it is simply the core of its musical identity. Anyone who lived through the indie wave of the early 2000s, the era of Myspace, music forums and the NME knows what it was like.

🎸 Where he comes from:

Back in the day, he used to be one half of the indie DJ duo Private Helicopter, with plenty of gin and tonic and rock'n'roll and 7-inches in his luggage, and was on the road in the club scene: from Berlin (Lido) to Hanover (Cafe Glocksee, Bei Chez Heinz, Faust) and Braunschweig (Nexus, Brain, Merz) to the legendary Atomic Cafe in Munich. Now solo and on the road in Hamburg, but with more feeling.

🪩 Where you meet him:

After stops at Hamburg's Molotow or guest appearances at Übel und Gefährlich with Mis-Shapes or as part of the 100 most beautiful DJs in the city (Intro Magazine) or at MS Dockville, among others, the man with the records has found his home port on the MS Hedi for his Private Pleasures party series.

And because the indie heart still beats very strongly in his chest, 1MANDISCO joined forces with colleague and partner in crime DJ M.Floess at the end of last year and founded the party series MUSIC SOUNDS BETTER WITH YOU, which has found a home in Hamburg's beautiful Nachtasyl 🫶
