6 TAGE FREI becomes 3 TAGE FREI: the festival of the independent performing arts in Stuttgart and Baden-Württemberg

From April 15 to 18, 2026, the independent performing arts community is going all out: 3 TAGE FREI presents artistic works from Stuttgart and Baden-Württemberg that celebrate uncertainty, push boundaries and dare to try something new. Due to tough cost-cutting measures by the city of Stuttgart, the festival will take place in a shortened form this year. What has changed is the scope - what remains is the claim: to provide a stage for the independent performing arts in all their diversity, risk-taking and social relevance.
