The original idea was to expand the cultural offerings in the town in the Teutoburg Forest with various events combining pop and subculture under the name "Ab & Zu in Detmold".

With a varied program, our aim is to create new places of exchange and shared enjoyment, as well as to promote live music and DJ culture equally in order to strengthen the cultural scene in Lippe.

In the meantime, we are concentrating on the two-day open-air festival "Ab & Zu lauschen und Tanzen", where another of our aims is to make the event as sustainable as possible. For example, we use a mobile solar battery system to generate electricity for our festival and are happy to welcome every guest who arrives by bike.

The festival "Ab & Zu lauschen und tanzen" is brought to you by a collective whose members have years of experience in the German cultural and festival scene.
Now we want to use renewable energy to create a small festival with a big festival feeling in our hometown in order to develop a larger sustainable festival over the years, where people from all over the world can listen and dance together, but also chat, eat and drink!
