Always coming back to you

The passionately curated concert series acbty, launched in Cologne in 2008, has now hosted over 500 concerts. acbty plays an important role for international artists operating in the space between experimental music and pop. Its programming is not driven by current trends and provides a platform for musicians whose concerts may not be financially viable. The selection of artists is based purely on intuition, personal drive, and the enthusiasm for discovering new music.

In 2022 alone, we were able to present artists from the USA, Brazil, Niger, Japan, Turkey, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Jamaica, as well as from Germany. With at least 70% of the lineup consisting of female or gender-diverse artists, we curate a program that meets our personal standards.
