One of the oldest concert series in Germany
The members of the Mannheim National Theatre Orchestra organized in the Musical Academy are the organizers of one of the oldest concert series in Germany. Among theater and symphony orchestras, the democratic structure of the academy and its associated programmatic and financial independence are unique. They are decisive for the artistic identity and self-confidence of the musicians. Eight times a year, the orchestra, which normally performs in the opera pit, now presents itself in the Mozart Hall of the Rosengarten.
