Another Open Stage is a collective that is passionate about an open, diverse and empowering cultural scene. We regularly organize events where artists from diverse backgrounds can showcase their talents - always with a focus on community, creativity and mutual support.

Our Another Open Stage at Turistarama Cologne is a unique format that has been providing a platform for local artists for years - from absolute newcomers to experienced artists. In addition to the Open Stage, we also organize New Sounds, Who Dis?, a curated concert format that puts new sounds and exciting acts in the spotlight.

We work on a voluntary basis and organize our events on a donation basis in order to give as many people as possible access to art and culture. We actively promote a non-discriminatory, inclusive and appreciative atmosphere - because art is for everyone!

Whether on or in front of the stage - Another Open Stage is about more than just performances: it's about encounters, inspiration and a community that supports each other.

Code of conduct anti-discrimination/awareness:

Another Open Stage does not tolerate any form of favoritism, hurtful language, discrimination, abuse, exclusion and offensive behavior based on gender, ethnicity, religion, origin, skin color, religious belief, sexuality, gender identity, socioeconomic class, caste, disability or age. We do not accept sexism, racism, homo-, bi-, inter- and transphobia or hostility, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, fascism, ageism, ableism and other intersectional forms of discrimination.

Furthermore, we do not tolerate violence, abuse or harassment of a verbal, physical, sexual or other nature towards our guests, artists, employees and partners. If our Code of Conduct is violated, we reserve the right to withdraw and deny access to Another Open Stage without prior notice.

We would like to emphasize that people seeking help can contact the Another Open Stage team or our awareness person at any time. We want our event to be a safe and inclusive place for everyone.
