ASTAMATITOS World Music was founded in 2005 by Nikos Nikiforos and has since established itself as an independent concert, touring and booking agency. With a focus on reggae and world music from Greece, the agency has not only opened up new avenues for artists, but has also had a lasting influence on the cultural event landscape in Germany.

Originating from the ASTAMATITOS and THREE BLIND MICE projects, Nikos first began to pursue his hobby as a DJ and local promoter. In doing so, he discovered his organizational talent as a promoter and laid the foundation for an impressive career: Over 220 concerts, 27 tours and two festivals in Germany and Europe now bear his signature.

However, this success was not only made possible by his organizational talent, but above all by the brilliant bands that ASTAMATITOS World Music added to its roster. In particular, the collaboration with LOCOMONDO, a band that transforms reggae, ska, dub, rock and Greek influences into a unique blend, and later with IMAM BAILDI, who brought the intensity of Greek music to the stage with their explosive mix of Greek-Balkan brass, electro swing, Greek roots and hip-hop, has shaped the agency's path.

With their energetic, 100% danceable live acts, both bands have shown how versatile and globally capable Greek music can be - globalbeats at their best!

ASTAMATITOS World Music takes over the entire tour management and thus enables the artists to devote themselves fully to their music. Technical equipment (backline, PA etc.), tour bus (incl. driver) and (almost) everything else can be provided on request.

In order to guarantee the necessary quality, ASTAMATITOS World Music only provides professional musicians and only a small (but very fine) selection of artists and bands.

Furthermore, ASTAMATITOS World Music has access to a broad network of event organizers, venues and media representatives with whom it has already worked successfully in the past.

Nikos' role as a pioneer of the Greek world music scene in Germany is particularly formative. With his craft, he has not only opened doors for Greek artists to a new and diverse audience beyond the Greek community, but has also inspired other promoters, venues and festivals.
