Ballett am Rhein

The Ballett am Rhein looks back on a long history of intensive dance creation and distinctive artistic styles. The 45 international dancers, with a wide variety of artistic backgrounds, have a diverse repertoire that brings together a wide range of choreographic styles and voices—from Sleeping Beauty to modern choreographies set to electronic beats.

In addition to dance on the main stage, “Tanz mit!” is also part of Ballett am Rhein. In the Dance Education Department, we aim to promote dance in all its forms and inspire people to participate. Participatory formats expand the offerings within Ballett am Rhein.

Ballett am Rhein can usually be seen on the stages of the Düsseldorf Opera House and Theater Duisburg; rehearsals take place at the Ballet House in Düsseldorf Bilk.
