With four- to eight-part choral music through the centuries from Gabrieli, J.S.Bach's son Joh.Christoph Friedrich to Max Reger and Swider, the choir sings testimonies of faith. It has been 1700 years since the Confession of Faith was formulated at the Synod of Nicaea (325 AD). The Brückenchor sings it in a double-choir composition by the Portuguese Joao Rodrigues Esteves: Credo in unum Deum. Instrumental music by Scarlatti enriches the vocal concert. The Becherbach Bridge Choir will travel to South Tyrol in October with this concert program. Free admission.
