About BESONDERE ORTE Umweltforum Berlin GmbH

Founded in 2000, the GmbH employs 70 people and operates several event venues in Berlin, including the Umweltforum, the Tagungswerk and the Französischer Dom. Since 2021, the viewing platform and the Hugo & Notte restaurant at the Französischer Dom have also been part of the portfolio. In 2024, around 24,600 guests enjoyed the 360° view over Berlin.

The company has been committed to sustainability since it was founded and was the first location company in the German-speaking world to be EMAS-certified. The Französischer Dom has also been certified since 2024. In addition, BESONDERE ORTE was ranked among the top 3 most sustainable companies in the trade fairs and events category of the German Sustainability Award.
