BS Oldschool began as a small nostalgic project and developed into a non-profit cultural association that focuses on Braunschweig's subcultural club, concert, music and nerd scene. We aim to organize events that take visitors on a journey through time and have been offering extensive event concepts since the first event in 2018.

A unique selling point of our events is that we offer an extensive supporting program that is peppered with many cultural highlights. In the past, we have hosted art exhibitions by professional photo artists, cosplayers, tattoo exhibitions, retrogaming content, meticulously researched information exhibitions, original DJs from cult clubs of the time, VIP guests and much more to match the context of each event. Professionally competent people, such as art and media scientists, accompany the development process of the exhibitions. We are closely linked to the regional cultural landscape and cooperate with venues, other associations, artists and cultural professionals. In the past, we have collected donations or held raffles in which the entire proceeds were donated to regional associations and aid organizations. Other associations support us in turn and enrich our events with their know-how and wealth of experience.
