DAS TATTOO is a temporary exhibition space that will take place in Essen from May to July. Changing group exhibitions will take place every 2-3 weeks, creating new encounters between artists, works, space and visitors.

Our focus is on unconventional, spontaneous and collaborative exhibition development. Art should not only be shown, but also experienced and discussed.

In addition to the exhibitions, there will be a varied program: Concerts, dance, performances, talks, artist brunches and workshops. In this way, we want to combine different disciplines and reach a broad audience.

The exhibitions are deliberately only open at weekends. We believe that art really comes alive in shared moments with many visitors - be it at an opening, a concert or a conversation in the room.
