A theatrical bus ride through the "working-class city" of Chemnitz: the audience travels in an old Ikarus bus past the Karl-Marx-Kopf, factories, the soccer stadium - typical places of the working-class city. But isn't there more to it than that?
"The bus has left" shows female perspectives on the topic of work: What is work? What does the daily working environment look like? And what do feelings have to do with work?
The bus trip is designed by women/FLINTA* who live in Chemnitz or the surrounding area. They play their own stories in leading or small roles and add important perspectives to the narrative about Chemnitz!
Guests can expect music, dance, puppet theater and performance in unusual and special places.
The audience will experience a varied look at work.
After the bus ride, you can enjoy a drink in the Weltecho and talk about the performance and find out more about the background to the project.

Participation

We offer performances with a wheelchair space, with interpretation into German Sign Language (DGS), with audio description (AD) and with English interpretation (EN). Further information can be found in the descriptions of the respective events.
