With this platform, the Cologne documentary film collective DOKOMOTIVE is building new bridges between filmmakers and audiences. We, the collective members and invited film authors, bring the platform to life with our unique films and discourses and invite the audience to exchange ideas, browse through the constantly growing archive and discover new perspectives on the world of documentary film. The online platform is the starting point as well as a means of communication and marketing for our work. The website is also a field for experimentation and is intended to grow steadily so that our major goal can become reality: To create more attention for documentary film.
