The Berlin drag collective DUCT TAPE, founded by EMI, Symba and Magda von Pfeffer, is one of the most influential forces in Berlin's drag and performance scene. With their elaborately produced shows, they combine drag with theater, comedy, dance, music and performance art and regularly bring queer art to the city's major stages.

Since 2022, DUCT TAPE has produced some of Berlin's biggest drag shows, collaborating with numerous drag and performance artists from Berlin, across Germany and beyond. Their shows are known for versatile line-ups, original concepts and a mix of glamor, humor and artistic experimentation.

In addition to their major stage productions, the collective regularly organizes bar and club evenings, including their popular Drag Bingo Nights.

The collective's work is also becoming increasingly visible internationally: in 2026, DUCT TAPE was invited by the Goethe-Institut to perform as part of a tour of India and bring Berlin drag culture into international exchange.

Their own productions also include the self-written, produced and staged Christmas musical HOLY GLORY, which delighted audiences with its mix of parody, camp and musical elements. With the YouTube series HOT STUFF, produced in collaboration with eBay, they also expanded their artistic spectrum into the digital space.

DUCT TAPE 2024 received the Remix - Popculture Icon Award for their work.

Today, the collective stands for a new generation of drag in Berlin and pursues the goal of making drag visible as an independent art form and accessible to a wider audience.
