For 20 years, the elbsommer event series, formerly known as "Summer in HafenCity", has been taking place during the summer months in the districts close to the Elbe. The squares, parks and promenades of HafenCity and the surrounding neighborhoods are transformed into lively meeting places and, thanks to numerous supporters and sponsors, offer a comprehensive range of non-commercial and free events. Many new and old partners bring a very special summer flair to HafenCity with their events every weekend from June to August. From cultural and entertainment events to sporting events, there is something for everyone. Thanks to the numerous participants, this year will once again be an exciting and varied Elbe summer.
