euro-scene Leipzig is one of the most important international dance and theater festivals in Germany and takes place every year in November. It presents cross-border guest performances that address social issues, take a stand and touch the audience as well as encourage dialog. Accompanying discussions, discourse formats, workshops and films deepen the debate.

The festival presents a broad spectrum, from renowned international artists to exciting new discoveries, and is aimed at a diverse audience. In-house and co-productions, German premieres and world premieres are created in collaboration with partners from all over the world and underline the international appeal of the festival. For over 30 years, euro-scene Leipzig has been an integral part of the cultural landscape and brings its productions to the major stages in Leipzig, such as the Leipzig Opera, Schauspiel Leipzig, LOFFT and Schaubühne Lindenfels, as well as to unusual locations in the city.

From 4 to 9 November 2025, the 35th edition of the International Dance and Theatre Festival euro-scene Leipzig will once again present a concentrated program with strong artistic signatures and experiences.
